Introducing Kyodo

Kyodo is a decentralized curation platform and marketplace for art NFTs that brings together artists, curators and collectors.

We help artists be discovered by collectors and forge a deeper connection with them.

Using Fantom Soup Cans, we actively reward curators with a share of platform revenue for curating art and helping collectors discover their favorite artists. Anyone can permissionlessly become a curator on Kyodo by simply holding Fantom Soup Cans in their wallet.

Anyone with a Metamask wallet can discover and start collecting art on Kyodo from artists who have been handpicked by an eclectic group of curators, permissionlessly.

Artists need an invite code in order to start minting on Kyodo which can either be given by a curator or generated by minting a Fantom Soup Can. Artists who sign up by minting Fantom Soup Cans are also given curator rewards on Kyodo.

How it works

Curators:

Minting 1 Fantom Soup Can NFT gets you 1 invite code to the platform.

Curators are rewarded 5% of each primary sale by an invited artist.

Curators also receive one additional invite code when an invited artist makes their first sale. This way curators can invite numerous artists against only one Fantom Soup Can progressively as well.

Artists:

Kyodo is an invite-only platform. In order to start minting and listing art on Kyodo artists will need a valid invite code. Invites codes can either be given to artists by curators or artists can themselves mint a Fantom Soup Can and generate an invite code. Doing the latter will also unlock curator features and rewards for artists.

Collectors:

Anyone can start collecting NFT art on Kyodo. All you need is a Metamask wallet and FTM, the native cryptocurrency of Fantom Opera blockchain. Collectors can also resell art NFTs on Kyodo.

Fantom Soup Can NFTs:

Fantom Soup Cans are 3200 individually unique hand-drawn pieces inspired by Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s Soup collection.

All curator rewards accrue against Fantom Soup Can token ids. Therefore, any wallet that holds a particular Fantom Soup Can is eligible to claim all unclaimed curator rewards against it on Kyodo.

All invite codes are also generated against Fantom Soup Can token ids. Therefore, they represent all future curator rewards generated from all the artists invited against that particular token id.

Fantom Soup Cans are ERC-721 tokens and therefore can be traded anywhere on Fantom Opera.
